ʻImi Naʻauao

Beta notice

Effective November 2, 2026.

ʻImi Naʻauao is in a free beta run by Joe Awong Jr., a special education teacher in Las Vegas. It is not a product of any school district or company, and nothing is charged. Every tester signs the one page beta tester agreement before she is added, and that signed agreement is the full set of terms for the beta.

What the app keeps. Your email address so you can sign in, your sign-in records, simple usage counts, and what you enter: IEP goals, instructional levels, scores and the made-up codes you give your students. Never a student's name.

Who handles it. The app runs on Vercel (hosting) and Neon (your own database). Sign-in emails come through Resend. Some materials are written by Anthropic's Claude, which receives the goal's words, the standard and the instructional level, never a student's code, score or name. Nothing is sold, there are no ads, and no outside service tracks you across other websites.

Your records. Only you can reach your database. When support signs in to help, each visit shows on your Settings page. To see, change or delete what the app keeps, email aloha@iminaauao.com. Deletion happens within 30 days, backups included.

Changes. If this notice changes, you will get an email before the change takes effect.
